  • Arriving in Singapore

    Quarantine Free Travel

    Eligibility and Requirements

Unvaccinated children aged 12 and below may enter Singapore via the Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF) or quarantine free, with the same requirements as the fully vaccinated travellers.

Travellers can take any flight entering Singapore if the Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF) or quarantine free travel requirements are fulfilled.

    Proof of Vaccination

Travellers aged 13 and above are only considered “fully vaccinated” if they meet either of the following conditions at least 2 weeks before arrival in Singapore:

    1. Received the full regimen of WHO EUL Vaccines in the list of accepted vaccinations and met the minimum dose interval period; or
    2. Contracted Covid-19 before being vaccinated, and received at least one dose of any WHO EUL Vaccines at least 28 days from their first diagnosis of a Covid-19 infection. Travellers must produce acceptable proof of their first positive Covid-19 diagnosis.

Traveller must provide an accepted digitally verifiable vaccination certificate in English. This means that it should contain a QR code for verification. Please refer here  for the acceptable proof of vaccination by countries/regions of issuance.

    [Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents]
You can provide your vaccination status using the HealthHub or TraceTogether mobile app, or vaccination certificate(s) issued by the Singapore Ministry of Health in English.

    [Short-term visitors to Singapore]
Please refer here for the acceptable proof of vaccination by countries/regions of issuance.

The electronic or physical vaccination certificate(s) should be in English and clearly state the following:

    • Traveller’s name, and at least one other personal identifier such as the date of birth or passport number corresponding exactly with the information in the traveller’s passport used for entry into Singapore
    • Name of vaccine used (if more than 1 dose, the name of each vaccine administered for each dose)
    • Date(s) of vaccination (if more than 1 dose, the dates when each dose was administered). The date of the last dose should be administered at least 14 days before the traveller’s arrival in Singapore

From 26 April 2022, most venues will no longer require the public to check in using the TraceTogether application or token, except where vaccination status checks are still required, such as larger events with more than 500 people at any one time, food and beverage (F&B) outlets including coffee shops and hawker centres, and nightlife establishments with dancing. In these places, you need to show your verified vaccination status, which will be automatically reflected for travellers, in the TraceTogether mobile app or bring along your TraceTogether token. More details below.

    Adults:

Prior to your departure to Singapore, you must download the TraceTogether mobile app. Upon arrival, you must activate and use the app for the duration of your stay in Singapore. Do ensure that your TraceTogether mobile app is updated to the latest version.

After downloading the TraceTogether mobile app, you need to:

    1. Follow the instructions that appear when you launch the app
    2. Verify your mobile number with an SMS One-Time Password and register your profile on the app with the same identification number, nationality, and date of birth as those shown in the passport that you are using to enter Singapore
    3. Click on the ‘ACTIVATE APP’ button on the Holding Screen immediately after you have cleared arrival immigration in Singapore. Follow the instructions until you reach the Home Screen

For more information, please refer to the TraceTogether website.

For children who are aged 7 to 12 in the calendar year* and those unable to use a mobile device due to a certified disability or special needs:
You need to collect the TraceTogether tokens with payment of a refundable S$50 deposit at the Changi Recommends booth at Changi Airport or Seletar Business Aviation Centre at Seletar Airport upon arrival in Singapore. As each token is uniquely tagged to each individual, you need to carry your own token wherever you go, and not exchange with others.
*In the year 2022, this covers children born from 2010 to 2015 (inclusive)

Children aged 6 and below in the calendar year (i.e., in the year 2022, those born in or after 2016) are exempted from the TraceTogether requirement.
